The new year has ushered in many changes for us at Conduent. One thing that hasn’t changed is our Healthy Future podcast, and I’m excited to share a new episode with you.
This episode, our second, features a discussion about what’s on all of our minds: the potential for massive changes ahead in the healthcare industry. Download and listen to hear an overview of proposed and potential changes to the Affordable Care Act from Tami Simon, global practice leader at Conduent HR Services.
Steve Roden, leader of our Provider, Pharma & Life Sciences business, and I serve as your co-hosts.
A spotlight on medication adherence
Every day, I’m amazed at how many great people and companies there are doing amazing things in healthcare, so we do our best to highlight as many as we can in our podcast.
One company, Catalia Health, is really trying to figure out why so many patients miss medication doses — and what can be done to prevent missed doses in the future.
They’ve developed a personal health companion, Mabu, that is able to converse with patients at a highly individualized level and keep them on track with their medication regimen. This is part of a growing trend in healthcare to leverage advanced robotics technology to improve outcomes.
A conversation with Mandi Bishop and a look ahead to HIMSS
We also catch up with one of our favorite trendsetters in the industry: Mandi Bishop. She’s just started a new venture called Aloha Health.
What if healthcare treated you as a person as opposed to a patient? At Aloha, they ask themselves this question every day.
Mandi also shares with us what she’s most looking forward to at HIMSS 2017. In this time of change, she, like all of us, is looking forward to the new opportunities that will present themselves in our industry and seeing these ideas showcased on the show floor.
In just a few weeks, we’ll be touching down in Orlando for HIMSS for our first conference as Conduent. Patient advocate Regina Holliday will be in our booth again this year, and Mandi will be ready. She received her first Walking Gallery jacket just a couple of weeks ago.
